Pillsbury Orange Sweet Rolls


Story
 
Sometimes one doesn't feel like baking from scratch and that is when the frozen goods section comes into play for most of us. That being said I saw these at the store one night and wondered how they would actually taste/turn out. To my surprise they turned out very well although you can tell they have the mechanical dough-like texture. 

Ingredients
 
1 Can Pillsbury Orange Sweet Rolls (Contains the Icing Pack/See Image Above)

Contains wheat and milk ingredients. Contents under pressure! To ensure safety while opening, always point can ends away from you and others.

(You really don't need anything else!)


Cooking/Baking Instructions
 
The packaging states that you are supposed to preheat the oven to 204˚C (400˚F). 
Next take and grease a circular cookie sheet. Then place the Pillsbury Orange Sweet Rolls rolls 5.08cm (2 inches) apart with the cinnamon topping up. Bake them until they are golden, which takes about 8-11 min (oven temperatures vary and I like to slightly under-cook mine).

You want to let them set for about 2 minutes after they come out of the oven before applying the icing or it just turns to the consistency of water instead of icing. Spread the icing over the rolls, it should still melt but not appear as runny. The manufacturer's website also lists a Traditional Bake Method that states, "For softer rolls, bake in round pan for 14-18 min." Do not freeze or microwave unbaked dough.
