Simkin's Baked Salmon

Story

Simkin asked in the IRC channel if anyone had a salmon recipe for him to try out. I just completed a move and went to look for my cookbook but ended up finding out that it it is still in storage :( I looked through the internet for a recipe similar to mine and came across one that Simkin ended up making into his own. I will hopefully post mine sometime next week :/

Ingredients

2 Cloves Minced Garlic

2 Tablespoons Light Olive Oil
1/2 Teaspoon Sea Salt
1/2 Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper

1/2 Teaspoon Ground Lemon Pepper
1/2 Teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning
1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
1 Tablespoon Chopped Parsley

2 (6oz Salmon Fillets)

Possible Side Dishes

Asparagus (seeking_paradise_in_a_dream)
Broccoli (seeking_paradise_in_a_dream)
Premium Japanese Nishiki Rice (seeking_paradise_in_a_dream)
Green Beans (Simkin)
Mac n' Cheese (Simkin)

Cooking Instructions

In a medium glass bowl prepare the marinade by mixing: garlic, light olive oil, basil, salt, pepper, lemon juice and parsley. Place salmon fillets in a medium glass baking pan and cover with the marinade. Marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour turning occasionally. (I like to actually use a Ziploc bag that way you do not have to turn them as much).

After an hour of marinating them in the refrigerator preheat the oven to 193˚C (380˚F).

Place the fillets in aluminum foil and cover with marinade. Next make sure to fold the foil closed and seal in a  packet. Place the sealed salmon in a glass baking pan and bake for 40 minutes or until easily flaked with a fork.

This is how Simkin's turned out:
